On October 4, 2009 my father Rhea Trevino, had a massive heart attack. He was in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks before he was able to come home. During this time the medical bills began to pile up. He did have insurance but it only covered so much. He has had many out of pocket expenses and now with the new year his deductible will start over and he faces more expenses for the up coming year.
He is in recovery now but has to go back every 1 to 2 months for more checkups and tests and has lots of medications that he must take daily. He has also been very limited in what he can do. He is not back to working full time yet and it could be some time before he is according to the doctors.
I am trying to help generate business for him and even the small things can help. I am wanting to help him by starting a "Key Ring Drive". I am not asking for donations, but if you could purchase a $10.00 braided leather key ring that Rhea makes, we will pay the shipping. I picked the key rings because they are made by my father and are something everyone can enjoy.
If you know my father you know he is a very kind and giving man. He is always the first to help if he can and is always willing to give his time to help others if they need something. He always has a smile on his face and is full of life. He loves what he does!
